PROMOTES KETTLER
TO COUNSEL
Riker Danzig LLP has elevated Michael S. Kettler of the firm’s environmental law group, in one of several newly announced promotions on its Morristown-based team.
Kettler, who has risen to the counsel position, represents national and multinational corporations, public utilities, developers and small businesses in both litigated and transactional matters, according to a news release. He also advises clients about the regulatory obligations of federal and state environmental law and regularly guides clients through the complex and ever-changing requirements of the New Jersey site remediation program.
Riker announced the promotions in mid-February, noting that they were effective Jan. 1. The moves also included the election of Jeffrey A. Beer Jr., Jeffrey M. Beyer, Rebecca A. Borgese, Ryan Lee O’Neill, Hunt

ZAMBARANO JOINS

Real estate and project management veteran Alan Zambarano has joined GTL Construction of NJ Inc., the growing general contractor and construction management firm.
Zambarano joins the team, which is based in the Cedar Knolls section of Hanover,
as a director.

he has inked more than 40 full-service restaurant transactions.

Devli Real Estate has hired Edwin Lebron and Jefferson Tejada to lead development initiatives for its Wallington-based team.
In his role as development manager, Lebron’s responsibilities will include spearheading development projects from inception
to completion. He joins the firm as a former principal
of Sixboro
Holdings,
bringing
experience
in project
capitalization, construction management, acquisitions and forging strategic partnerships.
Tejada, meantime, will serve as operations lead and will execute Devli’s day-to-day development operations, according to a news release. With Sixboro Holdings, he was instrumental in executing that company’s acquisition, marketing and operational strategies, Devli said,
noting that his expertise will enhance its operational framework and drive efficiency across the company’s diverse projects.

WEISSMAN NAMED

The Builders Association of Northern New Jersey has appointed Derek Weissman of Procida Funding as its new board president.
Weissman, a partner at the Englewood Cliffs-based private equity fund, becomes the youngest in the association’s history to assume the post. He comes to the role with what BANNJ called a dynamic approach
to leadership and a fresh perspective, noting that his expertise and innovative strategies in construction lending have significantly contributed to Procida Funding’s growth and success.
“I am honored to lead the Builders Association of Northern New Jersey and excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our industry,” Weissman said. “My goal is to create an inclusive and educational environment that not only supports our current members but also attracts new talent to our field. Together, we will work toward advancing the standards of building in northern New Jersey and beyond.”
