MAROLAKOS JOINS LMC AS LEASING, SALES REP
Levin Management Corp. has deepened its bench with the addition of Christian Marolakos as a leasing and investment sales representative.
The commercial real estate services firm, which is based in North Plainfield, said Marolakos joins its team with a diverse background
that includes landlord and tenant representation, acquisition and disposition, investment sales and property valuation services. In his new role, he is responsible for leasing and marketing efforts at several New Jersey shopping centers within LMC’s leasing and management portfolio, including CVS Center in Montvale, Rutgers Plaza in Franklin Township, Bordentown Plaza in Bordentown, Stafford Park Shopping Center in Manahawkin, Aldrich Plaza in Howell, Chatham Plaza in Chatham and Route 9 Plaza in Old Bridge, among others.
“Christian brings a very distinct skillset within both leasing and investment sales, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Levin team,” said Sidney
Real Estate, Marcus & Millichap and The Goldstein Group, while he is a licensed New Jersey real estate salesperson and a member of ICSC.
GTL NEW JERSEY
TAPS BREECE AS SITE
SUPERINTENDENT
GTL Construction has bolstered its team in New Jersey with the addition of John Breece as a site superintendent.
According to the firm, Breece arrives with extensive
square feet and over $3 billion in
total lease transaction value. That experience includes nearly seven years with JLL, where he most recently was an executive managing director, as well as a 13-year run with Newmark in which he rose to become the firm’s youngest principal.
“Frank’s profound industry knowledge, reputation and remarkable
ability to forge

the Northeast and the Sun Belt and deepen our market impact,” said Jason Bogart, the firm’s founding principal. “As Accordia continues to focus on strategic expansion and rebranding, Frank’s expertise will be crucial in steering our company’s efforts in these areas. His role will involve leading initiatives that
align with Accordia’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and superior investment performance.
“His leadership qualities and strategic vision will be invaluable.”
Recine’s arrival follows the addition of Pizzolato, a veteran broker who spent nearly a decade with JLL
and HFF, to lead acquisitions and
investigations for private industry, government agencies and developers, according to a news release. As district office manager, she’ll work closely with other principals on the Fairfield leadership team and will share responsibilities for technical and administrative operations as
well as business development for the 60-person unit.
“Mindy brings both tremendous technical expertise and client advisory skills to her new position
as district office manager of one of GZA’s largest regional offices,” GZA CEO and President Patrick Sheehan said. “Since helping to establish GZA’s first New Jersey office in 1991, Mindy has remained a leader in the region and has been responsible for some of the office’s largest projects.”
Sayres remains heavily involved in projects for the multidisciplinary firm, which provides geotechnical, environmental, ecological, water
and construction management services. She has led teams on several phase one and two environmental site assessments, brownfields redevelopments and remedial investigations and feasibility studies at complex contaminated sites throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
GZA added that Sayres holds a bachelor’s in geology from the State University of New York at Oneonta and her master’s in geology from Queens College of the City University of New York. She is a professional geologist in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New York State in addition to
Singer, the firm’s
vice president of
leasing. “We’re
confident that
his market
knowledge,
strong industry
relationships
and expertise
across multiple areas of commercial real estate will add incredible value — and opportunity — for our clients.”
LMC noted that acquisition and disposition consulting also represents a notable component of its vertically integrated, in-house services. Marolakos represents both sellers and buyers of retail, multifamily and mixed-use properties, allowing the firm to expand its involvement in commercial real estate investment sales.
The company added that Marolakos has brokered millions of dollars’ worth of leasing and sales transactions to date in his career. He previously held positions with RIPCO
working closely with architects, engineers, code officials and clients directly.
Breece’s recent projects include
an interior renovation and training facility for Lakeland Bank in Hillsborough and amenity spaces at 194 Wood Ave., an office building in the Iselin section of Woodbridge.
“With his experience as a building engineer, he understands both sides of construction — the contractor’s side and the building owner’s side
— keeping the building’s integrity
as a top priority at all times,” GTL wrote in his bio. “John’s dedication
to excellence and his passion for construction drive him to consistently deliver outstanding results in every project he undertakes.”

Frank Recine, a prominent broker who spent a combined 20 years with JLL and Newmark’s New Jersey teams, has joined Fairfield-based Accordia as a principal, following the firm’s hiring in late April of Matthew Pizzolato as executive vice president for acquisitions and capital markets.
The developer and investment firm said Recine joins its leadership
