R&J PROMOTES JOHNSON TO ACCOUNT DIRECTOR R&J Strategic Communications
has promoted Dan Johnson, who
has spent nearly a decade with the Bridgewater-based firm and is a key member of its commercial real estate practice.
In his new role as account director, Johnson will be responsible for
leading and managing
the agency’s business-to- business account service team, according to a news release.
He also joins
the firm’s senior management committee and will assist
in setting its strategic direction.
Johnson joined R&J in 2016 and most recently held the title of account supervisor, helping to serve clients such as The Hampshire Cos., Denholtz Properties, NAI James E. Hanson, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises and Fennelly Associates, among others.
“Dan’s strong leadership style and strategic thinking have made him

The Morristown resident is actively involved in Urban Land Institute and currently serves as the public relations chair for the Northern New Jersey chapter. He’s also the organization’s incoming co-chair and volunteers his time and talent with UrbanPlan, which offers
an opportunity for high school students to participate in a hands- on, simulated real estate planning program while working side by side with leading industry professionals.

The Exchange Place Alliance
in Jersey City has named a new executive director, tapping former Mack-Cali Realty Corp. executive Deidre Crockett for the role.
According to the organization, which focuses on improving the waterfront
as Crockett+Co. after leaving Jersey City-based Mack-Cali, which is now Veris Resdential Inc.

COMMUNITY BUILDERS TAPS SPASOV AS PARTNER
Community Builders, a new employee- owned construction firm based in Morristown, has hired Niko Spasov as a construction manager and partner.
According to the organization, the new addition is another step toward
a platform that is focused on creating more cohesive communities through its projects.

the formation of the Alliance and all of the success we have been able to garner is because of her hard work, intelligence and dedication,” said Mike DeMarco, president of the organization’s board of directors. “Even though we are fortunate she is staying on in an advisory capacity, her daily presence will be sorely missed.”
