CenterPoint Properties has hired
veteran industry executive Jonathan
Guffey as a vice president of leasing
in its east region.
The national real estate fi rm
said Guffey, who is based in Fort
Lauderdale,
Florida, will
focus on its
portfolio in
the highly
competitive
Southeast
submarkets. He
is a former vice

leasing with Prologis, where he led a
team overseeing asset management,
construction and leasing activities for
some 12 million square feet of South
Florida industrial space.
His experience also includes roles at
Workspace Property Trust, Liberty
Property Trust, JLL and Penn-Florida
Cos.
“Over the last 16 years, Jonathan
has built a rock-solid reputation for
forging strong relationships with the
brokerage community and industrial
users along the East Coast,” said
David Nenner, CenterPoint’s senior
vice president of asset management
in the east region. “That’s been our
calling card for decades, establishing
long-lasting partnerships. Jonathan
will help us continue to deliver the
high level of service and trust our
customers have come to seek out and
expect from CenterPoint.”
Guffey holds a bachelor’s in real
estate and fi nance from Florida
State University, where he played
catcher on the Seminole baseball
team.

BELTLINE JOINS T&M
BOARD
T&M Associates, the Middletown-
based professional services fi rm, has
welcomed Clyde Higgs of Atlanta
Beltline Inc. to its board of directors.
Higgs, CEO and president of one of the
country’s largest, most comprehensive
urban redevelopment programs,
comes to T&M with a focus on
providing advice and oversight in
strategic planning, client relations,
governance and technology-focused
solutions, according to a news release.
The national consulting, engineering,
environmental and technical services
fi rm announced the move in mid-
December, touting its new board
member’s focus on collaboration
and extensive experience leading
complex infrastructure initiatives,
strategic planning, technology
commercialization, real estate
development and government
relations.
To that end, he has helped guide
Beltline as it advanced strong
working relationships with private
and public partners across the
region, state
and country
to provide a
network of
public parks,
multiuse trails
and transit
along a historic
22-mile railroad

downtown Atlanta, while connecting
more than 45 neighborhoods
catalyzing economic growth.
“Clyde brings specialized knowledge
and experience with successful

perspective to providing equitable
solutions that will support our

Higgs holds a bachelor’s in
psychology from the University of
South Alabama and his master of
public administration from East
Carolina University, the news release
said. In addition to his professional
achievements, he has been recognized
with accolades such as the Atlanta
Business Chronicle’s Most Admired
CEO Award and being named one of
Georgia Trend’s 100 Most Infl uential
Leaders in Georgia.

NEW MOVES TO
SUPPORT ITS GROWTH
Woodmont Properties has announced
a fl urry of new hires and promotions
in support of a development
pipeline with more than $2 billion in
commercial and multifamily projects.
In a news release, the Fairfi eld-based
fi rm said the
moves include
the appointment
of Blaise Lucas
as vice president
of accounting.
He comes to
the role with
nearly 20 years

accounting experience and will
oversee Woodmont’s fi nancial
policies, provide direction for all
accounting functions and ensure
proper fi nancial controls are in place.
Before joining Woodmont, he
served as senior vice president and
controller at Vornado Realty Trust,
held roles at Turner Construction
Co. and Deloitte LLP and led his
own fi rm, Lucas Financial, the news
release said. He holds an accounting
degree from Ramapo College of New
Jersey and is a licensed CPA.
Woodmont, whose pipeline spans
several Northeast and Southern
markets, also detailed several recent
promotions to support its growth
plans, including:
• Louis DeVos to senior vice
president of property and
commercial asset management
• Melanie Diaz to vice president of
business operations and system
integration
• Chris Camy to vice president of
marketing

portfolio operations

Woodmont also welcomed Danielle
Versnel as asset coordinator and
Cole Kreshpane as assistant project
manager with Woodmont Industrial
Partners, its
industrial real
estate arm.
Versnel began
her career in
hospitality
with Concord
Hospitality
Enterprises
Danielle Versnel
before
transitioning to real estate, boasting
experience with both commercial and
residential assets after having worked
with AVE by Korman Communities
and JP Management LLC.
She holds a bachelor’s in business
administration from Montclair State
University, the news release said.
As asset coordinator, she supports
industrial asset management
operations, coordinating tasks related
to property management, lease
administration, fi nancial reporting
and marketing.
Kreshpane, for his part, previously
served as an assistant purchasing
agent for Hunter Roberts
Construction
Group in New
York City. A
Duke University
alum, he holds a
master’s degree
in business
management
from the Fuqua
Cole Kreshpane
School of
Business and a bachelor’s in political
science.
Woodmont added that, as assistant
project manager, Kreshpane manages
design and construction service
solicitations, quality control of on-
site activities, proposal evaluations,
permit liaising, utility delivery and
value engineering opportunities
across Woodmont’s industrial
portfolio, the fi rm said.
