A restaurant has leased nearly 1,800 square feet at a grocery-anchored shopping center in Hillsborough, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. announced Monday.
According to a news release, Halal Meat Market is slated to open in January at the 87,054-square-foot Hillsborough Centre. It’s leasing the 1,772-square-foot space at 649 Route 206 from 3 Ronson LLC, which was represented by BRC vice presidents Chandler Vanderbeek and Connor Vanderbeek.
“We are pleased to announce the addition of Halal Meat Market to Hillsborough Center,” Chandler Vanderbeek said. “The tenant is local to the area and will be offering a variety of specialty meats and fish.”
In announcing the deal, BRC noted that more than 30,216 vehicles pass Hillsborough Centre each day. The firm added that it sits at a traffic-controlled intersection with high visibility from Route 206, offering more than 500 parking spaces with 191 luxury apartments under construction near the site and nearby retailers including Starbucks, Patidar Grocery Store, Retro Fitness, Chipotle, Goodwill, AT&T and Hand & Stone.
