A local operator has acquired a nearly 15,000-square-foot grocery store property in Camden, brokers with Wolf Commercial Real Estate announced Friday.

The new owner, 2780 Camden LLC, is slated to use the space at 2780 Mount Ephraim Ave. as a new location for its chain of health and beauty supply stores, according to a news release. WCRE Vice President Eric Flocco and Managing Principal Eric Grad represented the seller, Derrick Interests Inc., noting that the sale of the 14,537-square-foot former Save A Lot store not only revitalizes a vacant property but also contributes to the economic development and revitalization of the Camden area.

Terms were not disclosed.

“In this challenging market, it was truly a pleasure bringing this former Save A Lot to the market and the closing table in less than 15 weeks,” Flocco said.
