Investor acquires Stratford school site, eyes conversion to senior living, WCRE says

An investment firm has acquired a historic former school property in Camden County, under a newly completed transaction by Wolf Commercial Real Estate.

The brokerage firm announced Friday that it represented the seller, the Stratford Classical Christian Academy, in its disposition of 710 Laurel Road in Stratford. An unidentified buyer now plans to convert the three-building, 25,000-square-foot property into a senior independent living facility.

WCRE Principal and Vice President Christopher Henderson completed the sale and also represented the buyer. The firm noted that the roughly 10-acre site is the former home of the YWCA of Stratford.
