A local operator has sold a commercial kitchen and distribution facility in the Meadowlands, in a newly completed transaction by JLL’s Northeast industrial team.
The real estate services firm represented the Bergenfield-based seller, Kessel Associates, in marketing the 12,200-square-foot property at 100 Commerce Road in Carlstadt. The buyer, Emerline LLC, paid an undisclosed price for the asset.
“100 Commerce Road offers tremendous versatility for a range of uses and its location provides unparalleled access to the entire tristate area and New York City,” said Howard Weinberg, a managing director with JLL. “This property stands out as a highly adaptable, well-situated industrial property as activity in the Northeast continues to grow.”
In a news release, JLL highlighted building features such as a 1,200-square-foot office space, 14 parking spaces, 16-foot clear ceiling heights and two loading docks and a drive-in door. The current tenant, Sterling Affair, is a catering firm.
The firm also cited its location about five minutes from Route 3 and its proximity to other highways, along with easy access to the Lincoln Tunnel.
