Brooks Brothers has leased nearly 5,300 square feet for a new store in downtown Red Bank, in a newly announced deal by Kislak Commercial Real Estate Services Inc.
According to a news release, the luxury clothing brand will occupy a former Chase Bank space at 32-34 Broad St. The location includes dedicated on-site parking in the rear along with additional parking in the neighboring municipal lot, brokers said, adding that there are a host of shops and restaurant nearby as well as the Count Basie Center for the Arts, riverside parks, marinas and other amenities.
Kislak Executive Vice President Peter Wisniewski and Sales and Leasing Associate Matt LoBocchiaro represented ownership in the 5,252-square-foot deal, working alongside tenant brokers Patricia AmecAngelo of RIPCO Real Estate and Rémy deVarenne of CBRE.
“Brooks Brothers represents the caliber of tenant that downtown Red Bank deserves,” LoBocchiaro said. “We are confident that their arrival will attract even more premier tenants to the downtown.”
Kislak noted that the Red Bank store marks Brooks Brothers’ return to the area following the recent closure of a shop at The Grove at Shrewsbury. The new space is slated to open this summer.
“We are thrilled to welcome Brooks Brothers to Red Bank, a brand renowned for its tradition and quality,” Mayor William Portman said. “Their presence downtown not only strengthens our vibrant retail community but also draws even more attention to the unique shopping and dining experiences we offer. Brooks Brothers’ tenancy is a testament to the growth and appeal of Red Bank, and we’re confident it will have a positive impact on both the local economy and our residents’ experience in the heart of our town.”
Mairin Bennet, executive director of the Red Bank RiverCenter, added: “The Red Bank RiverCenter is enthusiastic to see Brooks Brothers join the downtown Red Bank community. Their opening is a significant addition to our efforts at the Red Bank RiverCenter to cultivate a vibrant, diverse and sustainable downtown. Brooks Brothers’ presence will not only enrich the retail landscape, but it will also draw more visitors to our community, contributing to the economic vitality and overall experience of that makes Red Bank such a dynamic place to shop.”
