Three members of Langan’s Parsippany-based team are among two dozen to be promoted recently by the engineering and environmental services firm.

They include Eric Vervoordt, who was elevated to the role of senior associate. He is also the firm’s chief operations officer, collaborating with Langan’s CEO and senior executives to implement business strategies and optimize operational capabilities.
“Eric Vervoordt is a proven asset to a firm’s operational and financial success, demonstrated through his ability to leverage data-driven analytics that identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities,” according to his bio, which adds: “Throughout his career, he has facilitated the development of financial strategies to enhance competitive market positioning, increase market share, and improve overall profitability for top firms.”

Additionally, Langan has promoted Amanda Forsburg to associate, noting that she manages complex environmental investigations and remediations at large-scale urban redevelopment sites throughout New York. That includes the award-winning 365 Bond St. project near the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, guiding developers through city and state environmental regulatory programs to achieve remediation goals.
“She regularly leads multidisciplinary coordination and collaboration across multiple Langan teams and offices,” the firm wrote, noting that she is actively engaged with several industry organizations and serves as co-chair of the Women’s Leadership Initiative for the Urban Land Institute of Northern New Jersey.

Also rising to associate is Craig Napolitano, who has spent the last three decades specializing in nationwide industrial hygiene and hazmat services, directing environmental on-call contracts for numerous agencies in the tristate area, according to Langan. His technical and management experience covers safety and emergency response services, general environmental and lead, asbestos, mold and PCB abatement contracts, federal and state solid waste and hazardous waste and remediation contracts.
