A host of retail and office tenants are expanding across northern and central New Jersey as part of a series of recent leases by Zoltek Commercial Real Estate Services.
According to the firm, the deals include a 1,200-square-foot lease at 36 Beach Road in Monmouth Beach by Bellalicious Ice Cream. Zoltek’s Matt Ardizzone represented the tenant, noting that the shop will be the business’ second New Jersey location.
Ardizzone also represented Griffy’s Organics – Raw Juicery & Farmacy in an 850-square-foot commitment at 16 Wallace St. in Red Bank. The operator is also marking its second location.
Meantime, Zoltek’s Anjelica McCann brokered a lease by Ibrahim Law Firm at 970-972 Main St. in Paterson, according to a news release. She represented both parties.
In Englewood, the firm’s Daniel Lambert represented Get Stretched in its 1,400-square-foot lease at 32 North Dean St., which will be the business’ first location. He also partnered with fellow broker Susan Preisler to complete a deal with Loco Hot Deals, a Bronx-based discount retailer, at 1059 Springfield Ave. in Irvington for its first New Jersey store.
Lambert and Preisler worked together on a separate deal in Irvington, at 1065 Springfield Ave., representing ownership in a lease with Steady Nails. Preisler, meantime, teamed with Zoltek’s Alicja Jakubiec to broker a lease by Ali’s Pet Spaw at 72 Hamburg Turnpike in Riverdale, while the duo represented both parties in YG Nail Spa’s lease at The Copper Tree Mall in Oakland.
Other deals by the Totowa-based team include One Step Ahead Learning and Performing Arts Center’s commitment at Newark’s Gateway One at 11-43 Raymond Plaza West. Preisler represented the tenant, which will offer an age-appropriate curriculum that is infused with fun learning activities.
Elsewhere in the state, Zoltek CRES brokered a 1,215-square-foot lease in Rutherford for the first Code Wiz location, the news release said. Jakubiec and Urszula Zoltek represented both parties in the long-term deal by the child education franchise, which will occupy part of a mixed-use building at 310 Union Ave. that is steps from Union Middle School.
The brokers also represented both parties in a second new commitment at the site, noting that Three Star News Stand LLC is taking 1,433 square feet. Both new operators join tenants at 310 Union such as Kiddy Academy, Black Belt America, Dunkin and Sonic Suds.
Zoltek’s other deals include two leases by Taco Bell, which committed to locations at 412 Central Ave. in East Orange and at the Journal Square PATH station in Jersey City. The former is now open, while the latter is fully approved and slated to debut this year.
Also in Jersey City, Zoltek represented both parties in a lease that is bringing Wendy’s to the intersection of Jersey Avenue and 12th Street, which will be accessible to drivers approaching the Holland Tunnel. She did the same in Rockaway, where construction is underway at Route 46 and Franklin Avenue on another location for the fast food chain.
Zoltek also represented Haras Coffee House in a lease in Hoboken, which will serve as the business’ first location in New Jersey.
