A third-party logistics firm has signed two leases totaling nearly 158,000 square feet across industrial buildings in Middlesex and Bergen counties, in a set of deals arranged by NAI Mertz.
In the larger deal, Armstrong Logistics committed to 86,936 square feet at 250 Carter Drive in Edison, according to a news release. In Edgewater, the company took 70,887 square feet at 801 Bridgeboro Road.
NAI Mertz President Scott Mertz represented Armstrong Logistics in both deals. He noted that the firm, which provides professional services and solutions for the logistics industry, needed the space quickly after securing two new clients.
“I was pleased to locate suitable spaces for Armstrong to support their expansion,” Mertz said. “We were fortunate to identify and lease two locations in very tight timeframes.”
NAI Mertz also represented Armstrong in its recent headquarters lease in Burlington, where the company took more than 300,000 square feet.
