The owner of the Deptford Mall in Gloucester County has teamed with CBRE to boost leasing activity at the 1 million-square-foot property.

Macerich, a publicly traded retail company based in Santa Monica, California, said last week that the partnership aims to augment the efforts of its internal leasing teams and uncover additional opportunities at the complex on 1750 Deptford Center Road and just west of Route 42. CBRE’s Brian Bruzek and Jim Creed will spearhead the marketing and leasing strategy for the property, which serves the Philadelphia and Atlantic City markets with more than 125 shopping and dining brands on site.

“We are excited about the many opportunities to bring customers more great stores, restaurants and entertainment concepts at every one of our Macerich retail properties, including Deptford Mall, and that means we are laser focused on leasing,” said Eric Bunyan, senior vice president of leasing with Macerich. “Working with CBRE, which has a dedicated focus on long-term, harder-to-lease spaces, is another way we are moving even faster to secure the right tenants for our spaces.”

Operators at Deptford Mall include Cotton On, DICK’S Sporting Goods, H&M, Loft, Sephora, Vans, Xfinity and Rally House, along with eateries such as Red Robin, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A and entertainment spots such as Round1 Bowling and Arcade and Bonesaw Pilot House Brewery and Taproom.

“CBRE is thrilled to work in partnership with Macerich’s talented internal teams to bring additional exciting tenants to this marquee property,” Bruzek said.
