Mandelbaum Barrett PC has added three new partners to its real estate group and is set to open a satellite office in Bergen County, the firm announced.
Headquartered in Roseland, the practice said Bart G. Mongelli, Anthony J. Arnone and Roberto S. Migliorelli join its ranks from DeCotiis, FitzPatrick, Cole & Giblin LLP. Each was a partner with DeCotiis and will be based in Mandelbaum’s new Lyndhurst office.
“We are excited to welcome these three new partners as part of our growth strategy throughout New Jersey, and internally, it adds in a new generation of experienced talent,” said Barry R. Mandelbaum, the firm’s chairman and real estate department co-chair. “They bring not only the ability to better serve clients in in Bergen and Hudson counties, but they also bring new areas of focus to our practice.”
Mongelli focuses his practice on real estate, banking and corporate law, with experience that includes representing banks and private lenders with borrowing and lending transactions in real estate, development and construction deals, according to a news release. He has practiced law for more than 20 years and is very active in the community, having earned his J.D. from Pace University School of Law and his B.A. in political science from Fordham University.
With a practice focused on real estate redevelopment, land use and banking law, Arnone represents both public- and private-sector entities. As part of that practice, he has counseled clients in the closing of commercial real estate sales and represented lenders with corporate finance and other creditors’ rights matters.
Arnone has also served as a prosecutor for local municipalities and other public entities, the news release said. He received a juris doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and his bachelor’s in finance from Seton Hall University.
For his part, Migliorelli brings more than 25 years of experience and focuses his practice on commercial lending and commercial real estate law, handling all aspects of real estate transactions and commercial lending, the firm said. Clients have included corporate and government entities involved in a variety of development projects and other business transactions.
Migliorelli received his J.D. from Pace University School of Law and his bachelor’s in political science from Fordham University.
“Our newest lateral partner additions bolster our commitment to generational layering throughout our practice areas as we continue to seek out the best and brightest talent,” CEO William Barrett said. “Bart, Roberto and Anthony bring a wealth of talent and experience to the real estate group and have bright futures with the firm.”
Mandelbaum Barrett’s new Bergen County office will open at 518 Stuyvesant Ave., Suite 301 in Lyndhurst, by mid-2022.
“We are proud to join a firm celebrating 92 years of excellence and commitment to growth and partnership,” Mongelli said.
