Investment and development firm Marcus Partners has added a veteran industry executive as part of its plan to grow its industrial platform in the region.

Todd Minerley, who joins the Boston-based company as a senior vice president, brings more than 10 years of acquisition, development and leasing experience to new role. He will be based in Morristown, with the goal of implementing Marcus Partners’ industrial acquisitions strategy in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
“Metro New York is among the top industrial markets in the country servicing the largest population in the U.S.,” said Bill McAvoy, principal and co-chief investment officer of Marcus Partners. “Todd bolsters our industrial expertise in metro New York and will allow us to better cover the entire Northeast corridor. Todd’s expertise will help us to expand our portfolio in the thriving metro New York market including New Jersey and Pennsylvania.”
Minerley joins the firm from Venture One Realty, where he served as market officer for New Jersey, Long Island and Philadelphia, according to a news release. With Marcus, he will be responsible for sourcing and leasing industrial properties including both existing buildings and development opportunities in the tristate area.
The hiring comes as the firm recently acquired 3 million square feet of industrial space in a region stretching from Boston to Washington D.C., while it has a development pipeline of another 1.2 million square feet, the news release said. Including a recently acquired, 194,000-square-foot portfolio in Paterson, the company now holds 23 industrial properties.
