An auto repair business has renewed and expanded to 15,000 square feet at a retail building in Hackensack, in a deal arranged by brokers with NAI James E. Hanson.
The real estate firm said it represented both the landlord and the tenant, Pro Auto Repair, in the deal at 55 Midtown Bridge Approach. The building, owned by Global Tire Service, is 22,000 square feet and houses both the auto repair facility and a 7,000-square-foot full service car wash.
Pro Auto Repair is expanding from a 7,500-square-foot space at the property, NAI Hanson said. The expansion will allow the tenant to double the size of its business to serve significantly more customers.
The property, which is currently for sale, fronts the heavily traveled streets River Street and Midtown Bridge Approach, with quick access to Route 46 and Interstate 80.
“This lease expansion to Pro Auto Repair is another example of the strength of the Bergen County commercial real estate market,” Cassano said. “The lease renewal and expansion with Pro Auto Repair will allow the company to continue to grow and serve new customers within this market.
“Well-located and flexible properties like 55 Midtown Bridge Approach offer tenants the opportunity to grow their business while offering prospective investors a unique opportunity to obtain a stable, income producing asset in a strong marketplace.”
