A new business is coming to a nearly 11,000-square-foot industrial building in Irvington after a recent sale of the property, in a deal arranged by NAI James E. Hanson.
The buyer, Irvington Industrial LLC, plans to use the facility at 592 Hawthorne Ave. to support its manufacturing and distribution operations, according to a news release. It will do so with the benefit of a location that is just off Interstate 78 with easy access to Interstate 280, the Garden State Parkway, Newark Liberty International Airport and Port Newark-Elizabeth, with features such as 12-foot clear ceiling heights, three drive-ins and 10 on-site parking spaces.
NAI Hanson’s Justin Allessio represented both the seller, Haenssler Realty Corp., and the buyer in the trade of the 10,878-square-foot building. He noted that the structure includes 9,682 square feet of industrial and warehouse space with 958 square feet of office space.
“With the limited supply of available industrial/flex space in the Essex County market, 592 Hawthorne Avenue presented Irvington Industrial with a unique opportunity to secure an ideally located and adaptable property able to support its strategic business goals,” Allessio said. “I am pleased to have been able to bring the buyer and seller together to complete this mutually beneficial transaction.”
