Thomas Edison State University has marked the opening of a new building in Trenton that is home to its nursing school and a student advising center, according to the Times of Trenton.
A report by the newspaper said school and city officials on Friday celebrated the opening of the 34,360-square-foot Glen Cairn Hall. The $26.2 million project has helped spruce up an area described as a gateway to the capital city at the corner of West State and Calhoun streets, replacing what was a blighted apartment complex.
It is now home to the university’s W. Cary Edwards School of Nursing and several other functions.
