A restaurant group has purchased a nearly 15,000-square-foot property on Route 17 in Ramsey, in a newly announced deal by The Goldstein Group.
According to the firm, which represented both parties in the transaction at 900 Route 17 North, the buyers include an entity listed as Rt 17 North Holding LLC and an affiliate of Brothers Smokehouse BBQ & Soul, one of two establishments at the property. The other is a Chili’s restaurant, The Goldstein Group said, noting that the eateries occupy 8,100 and 6,200 square feet, respectively.
The seller is listed as CH/MG Ramsey Owner LLC. Terms were not disclosed.
“Brothers BBQ Restaurant is a unique concept that offers high-quality food and entertainment in a family-friendly atmosphere,” said Chuck Lanyard, president of The Goldstein Group. “They’ve designed a really beautiful restaurant and we are proud to have facilitated this deal and to have helped the brothers achieve their desire of owning the property.”
Lanyard and Vice President Marc Palestina completed the assignment for the Paramus-based brokerage firm. They noted that the Farella brothers operate the Southern-style food and slow-cooked barbecue concept, adding that the restaurant group opted to buy the property after leasing the site in 2018 in a transaction that Lanyard and Palestina also handled.
At the time, the Brothers group renovated a former Macaroni Grill and turned it into a cozy and inviting restaurant with a full bar and live music, the brokers said.
