The longtime owner of a 24-unit apartment and retail building in North Bergen has sold the property for $2.5 million, according to a broker with Redwood Realty.
In a closing announcement, the firm’s Steven Matovski said the property at 625 Kennedy Blvd. changed hands for the first time in 25 years. The undisclosed buyer paid cash and is now planning a renovation of the building, which was 30 percent vacant at closing.
The property, which includes ground-floor retail space, is a collection of one-bedroom units.
