J.G. Petrucci Co. Inc. has welcomed seven tenants to its portfolio in New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania after recently leasing nearly 400,000 square feet in 90 days.
According to the Asbury-based firm, the deals include the lease of a 96-space trailer storage lot in Logan Township by Ryder System Inc. The tenant, a logistics firm focused on supply chain, dedicated transportation and fleet management solutions, will use the site to accommodate customers in southern New Jersey and southeast Pennsylvania.
Dean Torosian of JLL represented Petrucci, while CBRE’s Dan McGovern and Drew Green represented Ryder System.
The developer’s other recent transactions include a 99,000-square-foot commitment by FreshPet Inc., a pet food manufacturer, which is building a new innovation kitchen near its existing campus in Hanover Township, Pennsylvania. J.G. Petrucci will develop, design, build and own the facility after a lease in which Jonathan Gelman, principal and broker at Gelcor Realty, represented both parties.
“We take leadership seriously at JGPCO, and all of these companies are leaders in their respective fields,” said Joe Petrucci, a project executive at J.G. Petrucci. “It’s an impressive roster and we look forward to getting them up and running in our buildings.”
The firm also announced that logistics company DHL has leased 120,000 square feet at Building III of its Lehigh Valley Flex Center, also in Hanover Township. Brian Knowles of Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania represented tenant, with Gelman representing ownership.
Additionally, J.G. Petrucci used its in-house construction team to deliver a 40,000-square-foot space for Evident Corp., a life sciences company, at 240 Emery St. in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Paul Touhey and Cody Lehrer of CBRE represented the landlord, while Ryan Barros and Scott Stange of JLL represented the tenant, which will use the facility for a new microscopy distribution and service center.
Petrucci’s other recent deals include a 9,000-square-foot medical office lease by Jefferson Health at its Station of Willow Grove property, in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. David Smith of Avison Young represented the landlord, while Shane Funston, Jason Bernardi and Jack Meyers from Cushman & Wakefield represented Jefferson.
In Easton, Petrucci leased 107,310 square feet of warehouse space at 3 Danforth Drive to Rocket Shippers, a division of Pride Global. In Allentown, coil coating manufacturer Vorteq Coil Finishers LLC preleased 20,000 square feet at 2302 South 26th St., with Mike Adams of NAI Summit representing the firm on both its recent acquisition of the building and leasing.
“We are very grateful to our broker partners that work diligently to get these deals done,” Joe Petrucci said.
