A developer is planning nearly 281,000 square feet of new warehouse space after acquiring 25 acres in Atlantic County, brokers with Lee & Associates of Eastern Pennsylvania LLC said.
The buyer, PNK Holdings LLC, paid $8.2 million for the fully approved parcel at 7 Waterford Road in Hammonton, according to a news release. It’s now slated to begin construction early this year, with plans calling for high ceilings, excess trailer parking and significant water, sewer and power capacities, as it looks to capitalize on a location along Route 73.
Lee & Associates’ Tony Rod, Andrew Landolfi and Sean Campbell represented Quad Partners LLC in the sale, which closed Dec. 3. They noted that, when complete, the 280,800-square-foot facility will bring an infusion of new industrial or light manufacturing space to a location that’s minutes from the Atlantic City Expressway.
