OUR ADVANTAGE
PS&S is different from most of our competition in that we have a wide range of professional design services we offer our clients including but not limited to Architecture, Civil Engineering, Cultural Resources, Environmental Design, Remediation & Permitting, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Land Surveying, MEPF Engineering, Professional Planning, Structural Engineering and Water Resources. PS&S can provide all or select services as the client and project requirements dictate. Our internal structure is also unique from other AE firms in that we are organized around project teams, rather than individual and separate departments. Architects and Engineers sit side by side in a collaborative environment which greatly improves communication and coordination, thereby saving our clients valuable time and money. This multidiscipline approach has led to our continued growth and success over the past 60 years.
ON THE HORIZON
We see continued growth in the New Jersey Real Estate sector happening in the ever-evolving office and corporate interiors marketplace, the expansion and modernization of industrial facilities, strategic development of multifamily and mixed-use residential communities including affordable housing, and the adaptive reuse and redevelopment of existing buildings and sites for Real Estate-related projects.
PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
The Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Village at Tinton Falls, New Jersey was designed and oriented to serve the Veteran community of New Jersey. The development includes a single building with 70 affordable one-bedroom apartment units for formerly homeless Veterans.
We worked closely with the developer/nonprofit team to ensure that the building was maximized for operating efficiency and living comfort. The design also incorporated necessary design considerations for the specific needs of the Veterans living in the building, such as enhanced sound proofing to help with PTSD and an on-site columbarium and eternal flame for the respectful interment of the ashes of Veteran residents who wish to be interred on-site after they pass.
