A business owner has acquired a nearly 17,000-square-foot retail building in Paramus, in one of two newly announced deals by The Goldstein Group.
The buyer, Juskait Holding Company LLC, paid an undisclosed sum for the property at 461 Route 17. Brokers noted that the 16,920-square-foot building, which previously housed Medrite Urgent Care, Huffman Koos and Moda Furniture, will now be owner-occupied.
The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein, Vice President CJ Huter and Director Marc Palestina represented the seller, MRT 461 LLC. Henry Song of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.

“The Paramus sale had several parties interested in the site and ultimately in the end a user was found that plans on relocating their existing business to the site,” Palestina said. “This was our second recent Paramus sale closing and we are working on a couple of other transactions.”
In the second deal, in Wayne, Finkelstein and Huter represented George Lighthiser in his sale of 3.5 acres of vacant land with a house at 555 Hamburg Turnpike. They also represented the buyer, Basis Acquisitions, noting that the site has approvals for a self-storage facility.
“This transaction took some time as township approvals were needed and they were finally resolved after several meetings,” Finkelstein said. “The site is located on the heavily traveled Hamburg Turnpike, affording the user tremendous exposure and is close to the new Aldi Supermarket site.”
