A maker of reusable grocery bags has leased 11,000 square feet of warehouse space in Franklin’s Somerset section, in a newly announced deal by Bussel Realty Corp.

The user, Future Group USA Enterprises, will occupy half of the building at 459 Somerset St. under Lazarus Realty LLC. BRC Sales Associate Gerald Daley represented the tenant, while Weichert Commercial represented ownership.

“Future Group USA Enterprises will utilize the space as a distribution hub for the cloth grocery bags that the firm manufactures,” Daley said.  “Customer demand has grown for the company’s products since plastic bags are no longer utilized by most retailers in New Jersey.”

In a news release, BRC noted that 459 Somerset is minutes from routes 27, 18 and 1 and downtown New Brunswick. The property has tailboard and drive-in doors for loading, air-conditioned offices and an off-street parking lot.
