Windshield repair company Safelite has leased nearly 5,000 square feet of retail space in Toms River, in a newly announced deal by The Blau & Berg Co.
Located at 1406 Route 37, the property is the former home of a tire shop just east of the Law Road intersection. Safelite is backfilling the 4,800-square-foot space after a transaction in which Blau & Berg’s John R. Longo represented the landlord, while James Leahy of Mohr Partners Inc. represented the tenant.
“A retail space with ample bays and freeway visibility was a priority for the new tenant,” said Longo, a senior director with the Short Hills-based brokerage firm. “Safelite is a national company that knows exactly what it wants, and both James and I were happy to find a retail location that perfectly met their needs.”
