Sitex Group has acquired a 100,000-square-foot warehouse building in Carlstadt, one of three recent additions to its industrial portfolio in New Jersey and New York.

The Englewood-based firm on Friday announced its purchase of 801 Washington Ave., which sits on 5.2 acres between routes 3 and 46. Sitex purchased the now-vacant Meadowlands property from a private owner, touting its 21-foot-clear ceiling heights, 10 loading docks and a large parking area.

Terms were not disclosed, but the firm said it has closed more than $200 million worth of acquisitions in the past 90 days.

“We’re excited to add 801 Washington Ave. to our growing portfolio of industrial real estate in New Jersey and New York,” said Blake Chroman, principal with Sitex. “We think the property’s size, location and features — namely its parking — will appeal to a wide audience.”

The site provides easy access to New York City and the Port of New York and New Jersey via the New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 80, the George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln Tunnel.

In addition to 801 Washington Ave, Sitex also recently added two warehouse and distribution facilities in New York City, including one in Long Island City.
