A top real estate attorney with Greenbaum Rowe Smith & Davis LLP has joined the leadership of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Cannabis Law Committee.
Jack Fersko, who chairs the firm’s cannabis industry practice group and co-chairs its real estate department, will serve on the NJSBA panel’s executive committee for the 2021-2022 term. He will also co-chair the committee’s corporate – transactional subcommittee.
In the new roles, Fersko will work with his fellow committee and subcommittee members to develop and implement programming, according to a news release. They will also ensure that the group’s members continue to receive the education and resources needed to remain updated on the issues associated with the burgeoning area of cannabis law in New Jersey.
Greenbaum Rowe, which is based in Woodbridge, noted that it launched its multidisciplinary cannabis industry practice group to meet the needs of clients engaged in investing in, operating or servicing businesses in the heavily regulated sector. The group assists clients in evaluating and managing the business and legal impacts of New Jersey’s cannabis market.
