The Stro Cos. has tapped a veteran commercial real estate executive as its new chief operating officer.

Jeffrey Buchman

In a news release, the firm said Jeffrey Buchman joins its Ridgewood-based team after six years as an executive vice president of asset management for Ivy Realty. In that role, he was instrumental in the financial and operational performance of the company’s assets and personnel.

“We are happy to have Jeff join our firm,” said Steven Millstein, Stro’s founder and principal. “His experience and knowledge of asset management and leasing will be invaluable as we continue our expansion across New Jersey and other markets.”

Buchman earned a bachelor’s degree from American University and lives with his family in Mountain Lakes.

“I would like to thank Steve for providing me with this opportunity,” Buchman said. “I am excited to work with such an amazing team at Stro and look forward to contributing to their continued growth and success.”
