Urban Edge Properties has signed a new 39,000-square-foot lease to bring Total Wine & More to a grocery-anchored shopping center in Cherry Hill.
In a news release, Urban Edge said the store will relocate to The Plaza at Cherry Hill alongside existing tenants such as Aldi, LA Fitness and Raymour & Flanigan. The real estate investment trust added that the power center at 2100 Route 38 serves residents of Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Marlton and Pennsauken, among other towns, noting that the addition of Total Wine is expected to draw customers from an even wider radius.
“With Total Wine relocating in this prime location, we expect demand for remaining vacant space to be strong as the center cements its position as a critical stop for area shoppers,” said Scott Auster, executive vice president and head of leasing for Urban Edge. “Upgrades to the parking lot and landscaping will create a fresh environment for retailers who want to benefit from dynamic adjacencies.”
Sitting on just under 43 acres, The Plaza at Cherry Hill spans 416,871 square feet and is adjacent to the Cherry Hill Mall.
