A tire distributor has acquired a 42,000-square-foot industrial building in the Blackwood section of Gloucester Township, brokers with Vantage Commercial announced last week.

The Pennsylvania-based buyer, Allen Rubber Co., paid an undisclosed price for the property at 1271 Little Gloucester Road, according to a news release. It will serve as a new location for the company as part of a plan to expand its operations to New Jersey.

Vantage Commercial Vice President and Partner Ken Richardson and Senior Adviser Vince Ceroli represented the seller, Charles Chang, in the transaction.

“It was a pleasure working with Charles Chang and helping him achieve his goals for the sale of this property,” Richardson said. “Allen Rubber’s expansion into New Jersey is an exciting opportunity, and we are proud to have played a part in facilitating this transaction.”
