Valley Bank has tapped a longtime lending executive as a new senior vice president and head of its commercial real estate division.
Andrew Markey, who has more than three decades of industry experience, joined Wayne-based Valley last month after nearly six years with Investors Bank. He now leads a team of bankers focused on generating new business and cultivating longstanding relationships with customers in the commercial real estate space.
Markey is a former commercial real estate team leader with Investors and has also held roles with Connect One Bank, Sun National Bank and Wells Fargo, where he spent more than 20 years as vice president and senior relationship manager for commercial real estate. He also worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency as associate national bank examiner.
