Wawa has leased 5,600 square feet for a new location in Hazlet, following a deal arranged by brokers with The Goldstein Group.

According to a news release, the freestanding convenience store occupies a pad site near the corner of Route 35 and Bethany Road. The business is now open within the newly renovated Hazlet Town Center property, where its co-tenants include Panera Bread, Burlington, Aldi, Planet Fitness and others.

The Goldstein Group Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein and Vice President CJ Huter represented both Wawa and the landlord, OASG.

“Wawa continues its expansion in New Jersey as it looks to increase its exposure throughout the area,” Finkelstein. “This deal took some time to finally receive approval and will be a fantastic addition to the shopping center which has been redeveloped over the past few years.”
