Woodmont Properties has made two additions to its construction team as it moves ahead with new developments, including a planned 300-unit multifamily property in Mercer County.
In a news release Monday, the firm said it has welcomed Thomas Anderson as senior project manager and Ryan Doyle as project manager. They will oversee the construction of several multifamily projects, including Woodmont Forge on Federal City Road in Hopewell, just south of Interstate 295.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Thomas and Ryan to the Woodmont family as we continue to expand our multifamily portfolio in 2023,” Woodmont CEO Eric Witmondt said. “Each professional possesses a novel skillset and wealth of industry knowledge, and we are confident that they will directly contribute to Woodmont’s current and future endeavors.”
Anderson comes to the role with more than 25 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, including land development, construction, quality assurance and customer service, according to a news release. He has held managerial positions at different stages in the development lifecycle and will oversee construction of Woodmont Forge.
Doyle, for his part, spent the last seven years as a residential construction manager, working on multifamily and single-family home projects, the news release said. His involvement and team mentorship were instrumental in several initiatives, including the construction of 14 model homes and nine communities spanning multiple municipalities.
Before entering the homebuilding industry, Doyle served five years of active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps as a helicopter mechanic, the news release said. He holds a degree from Penn State University.
“As Woodmont’s commercial and multifamily development pipeline continues to grow, we have the incredible opportunity to bring on exceptional talent to further support that growth,” said Howard Irwin, Woodmont’s executive vice president of construction. “We are confident that these new team members will add tremendous value not only to our construction team, but to our company and culture overall, amidst our ongoing growth.”
Woodmont Forge will have one-bedroom, one-bedroom-plus-den, two-bedroom, two-bedroom-plus-den and two-bedroom-plus-loft layouts, plus a series of tenant amenities. Following the completion of the property, Anderson and Doyle will continue to support the company’s construction division.
