A third-party logistics firm is expanding with a newly completed, 25,000-square-foot industrial lease in Kenilworth, brokers with Bussel Realty Corp. announced Monday.
The firm, Lodestone Logistics LLC, will occupy space at 110 North 12th St. under a transaction with North Holdings LLC. BRC Principal Jordan Metz, Senior Associate Benito Abbate and Sales Associate James Friel represented the tenant, which offers warehousing, distribution, transportation and supply chain solutions, noting that the lease was signed in an expedited seven-day timeframe.
The team added that it has a longstanding relationship with the landlord, a local investor with whom it has completed many transactions over the past 20 years.
“Lodestone Logistics came to us with a requirement on a Wednesday, we toured this property the very next day, and the lease was fully executed by the following Tuesday, even with the Fourth of July holiday weekend in between,” Metz said. “The speed of this transaction reflects both the tenant’s decisiveness and our team’s ability to identify the right opportunity and move efficiently through the process. This facility provides the location, functionality and access Lodestone Logistics needs to support its continued growth throughout the Northeast.”
The building, located less than a mile from Route 22, spans 113,000 square feet and has 16-foot clear ceiling heights, two loading docks, one drive-in door, wet sprinkler systems, heavy power and 237 surface parking spaces, according to a news release. It’s also minutes from routes 28 and 1 & 9, the New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 78 and the Garden State Parkway, providing easy access to Port Newark-Elizabeth, Newark Liberty International Airport and the greater New York metropolitan area.
