A maker of high-end fitness equipment has leased more than 15,000 square feet of office space in Bloomfield, in one of several newly announced deals by Newmark.
According to the brokerage team, Technogym is taking 15,186 square feet at 400 Broadacres Drive under a transaction with ERCT Capital Group. The company is among three new tenants at Broadacres Office Park, a campus of four buildings each measuring roughly 100,000 square feet, where occupiers are adjacent to the Garden State Parkway and minutes from routes 3 and 46.
The deals, which span nearly 40,000 square feet, also include new leases of 8,707 square feet by Rainbow Therapy and 12,971 square feet by Alliance Health Systems, both at 1455 Broad St., and a 3,089-square-foot renewal at 400 Broadacres Drive by Systra Consulting. Newmark Executive Managing Director Jeff Schotz, Managing Director Dan Reider and Associate Peter Kasparian represented ownership in the deals.
“Broadacres is conveniently situated with access to North and Central New Jersey and provides tenants many sought-after amenity offerings in a Class A environment,” Schotz said. “We are confident that the new tenants will thrive at the property as ownership continues to provide a best-in-class experience for office users.”
In announcing the deals, Newmark noted that Broadacres Office Park has distinctive building facades, a reflecting pool and an outdoor plaza, with a recent overhaul resulting in new parking lots and common areas, improved wayfinding and an upgrade to energy-efficient LED exterior lighting. Interior improvements included a new tenant lounge and fitness center with showers and the renovation and expansion of the café and conference center.
Tenants also have easy access to NJ Transit bus and rail service and are minutes from Montclair and Essex Fells.
