A global supplier of ores, metals and alloys has taken more than 7,000 square feet at an office building in downtown Somerville, according to the Deluccia Commercial Group.
The tenant, Minerais US LLC, is leasing space at 92 East Main St. under a deal with De Sapio Properties # 10 LLC. Tim Deluccia, a broker associate with Deluccia Commercial Group, represented both parties in the 7,030-square-foot commitment, noting that the 104,000-square-foot building has a 704-car parking garage and a fitness center for tenants.
He added that Minerais is one of the largest bulk importers of what’s known as ferroalloys to the North American steel industry. The company has more than 50 years of history in supplying commodities to its partners.
