JCMLiving has rented 50 percent of its new 295-unit luxury apartment building in the master-planned Wesmont Station district in Wood-Ridge.
The milestone, which the developer announced Monday, follows the launch of leasing in early spring at what’s known as Rosera Wesmont at 200 Rosie Square. The project has attracted renters thanks in part to its 35,000 square feet of amenity space, its proximity to NJ Transit rail service and other offerings within the mixed-use Wesmont Station development.
“Reaching the 50 percent leased milestone is a meaningful reflection of the strong demand for the lifestyle Rosera Wesmont offers,” said Andrew Weissman, director of North Jersey at JCMLiving. “This community was thoughtfully designed to honor the rich history of the area while also introducing a new level of luxury, pairing elevated design and amenities with the comfort and connectivity today’s renters value. We’re proud to see that vision resonate so clearly.”
Designed by Minno & Wasko Architects and Planners, with interior design by The Childs Dreyfus Group, Rosera Wesmont has floorplans ranging from studios to three-bedroom apartments. Amenities at the property include a 13,000-square-foot pool with a sundeck and landscaped courtyard, along with fitness and wellness spaces such as a multilevel gym, a yoga studio and sauna and a mix of coworking and meeting spaces.
The larger Wesmont Station development, which has repurposed a former Curtiss-Wright aircraft plant, has taken shape over two decades as part of a project by Inspired by Somerset Development.
