An autism service provider has leased nearly 5,000 square feet of medical office space in Chatham, in a newly announced deal by NAI James E. Hanson.
According to the brokerage team, Helping Hands Family will be the lone occupant at 330 Main St., where it will have 14 parking spaces in the heart of the downtown. It will also be within walking distance of the Chatham train station, nearby shops and restaurants and minutes from area highways such as Route 24, Interstates 78 and the Garden State Parkway.
NAI Hanson’s Andrew Kirshenbaum represented the landlord, 330 Main Street, Chatham LLC, in the 4,830-square-foot transaction. Zach Schwartz of MSC Retail Inc. represented Helpings Hands Family, which has locations in five states across the Northeast and helps parents and referral sources navigate the path to starting therapy and fostering continuous improvement over the course of treatment.
“Many of today’s medical office tenants continue to place an emphasis on single-tenant buildings with visibility in downtown areas,” Kirshenbaum said. “That demand coupled with 330 Main Street’s proximity to public transportation and major highways made it an excellent fit for a variety of tenants in the market. Our team is happy we could attract a well-respected tenant to this property while also bringing a valuable service to the Chatham community.”
