Boniakowski: Contractor moves from Elizabeth after buying Springfield office building

A construction firm has acquired a 10,000-square-foot office building in Springfield, in a newly announced deal by The Boniakowski Commercial Real Estate Group.

In a news release, the brokerage firm said Imperial Construction is relocating from Elizabeth to the property at 51 Commerce St., which provides high-quality space as well as convenience for its employees and clients. The building is just off Route 22, making it accessible from the Garden State Parkway, Interstate 78 and the New Jersey Turnpike.

Boniakowski Senior Vice President Todd Gannet listed the property and secured the buyer within a few weeks, the news release said. Terms were not disclosed.
