A national law firm has leased nearly 14,000 square feet of office space at The Eisenhower in Livingston, in a deal arranged by brokers with CBRE and JLL.
The practice, McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia PC, signed the long-term commitment at 290 West Mount Pleasant Ave. after having occupied a temporary, fully furnished office at the same property. It will occupy 13,558 square feet under the new deal with Eastman Cos., the owner of the roughly 384,000-square-foot campus just north of Route 10.
CBRE’s Jon Meisel, Erin Wenzler and Dan Casey represented ownership, while Fred Hyatt and Ignatius Armenia of JLL represented the tenant.
“MKCI required the highest-quality office space to meet the demands of its client base, and The Eisenhower fit its real estate parameters,” Casey said. “Eastman Companies was also able to offer immediate furnished temporary space for a short period while a long-term lease was negotiated — a huge benefit for the tenant. MCKI will soon occupy new, long-term space designed specifically for its needs.”
In announcing the deal, CBRE noted that MKCI represents clients ranging from large corporations and insurance companies to small businesses and individuals. It’s among the latest law firms to commit to The Eisenhower, which is roughly three miles from Interstate 280 and provides tenants with easy access to other highways.
Amenities at the site include a 220-seat auditorium with modern audio and video equipment, more than 10 conference rooms, new electric car chargers and a full-service cafeteria, among others. CBRE added that Eastman recently completed a new, fully furnished coworking suite that’s available for tenants looking for small flexible spaces.
