Eastman Cos. has attracted three new tenants to The Eisenhower, its 384,000-square-foot office complex on West Mount Pleasant Avenue in Livingston.
According to CBRE, which represented ownership in the transactions, the deals include a 4,200 square-foot commitment by Sobel Tinari and a 1,200-square-foot corporate headquarters lease for The Learning Experience. Eastman also leased 1,300 square feet to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in another new deal, while Caerus 1 US Inc. signed a 3,500-square-foot renewal.
CBRE’s Jon Meisel, Erin Wenzler and Dan Casey represented ownership, which includes Eastman and P3RE, in each of the transactions at 290 West Mount Pleasant Ave. Mark Richardson of JLL represented Caerus 1 US.
“We are thrilled to announce the new office leases at Eastman Companies’ Livingston property,” Meisel said. “The prominent ownership continues to do an excellent job to creatively execute leases in a challenging environment. The new leases were for office space that the ownership preemptively renovated to meet the latest demands of tenants, which also allows companies to move in very quickly.”
CBRE announced the deals this week, noting that Eastman recently completed a new, fully furnished coworking suite available for tenants looking for small flexible spaces and created additional fitness center space. That’s meant to boost the appeal of the property, which also has facilities such as a 220-seat auditorium, more than 10 conference rooms and a parking deck with new electric car chargers, while providing easy access to interstates 280 and 80 and other highways.
“Tenants have a growing demand for flexible leases, a new furnished coworking space allows tenants to utilize the amenities at The Eisenhower without long-term commitments,” Meisel said.
