A pharmaceutical ingredients firm has leased nearly 28,000 square feet in Montville that will serve as both a new corporate office and distribution facility, brokers with CBRE said.
The tenant, Generichem, is relocating to the township’s Towaco section under a long-term deal with Schuster Baumer LLC, the property owner at 425 Main Road. CBRE’s Marc Trevisan and Tom Mallaney represented the tenant, noting that the 47-year-old company represents producers of pharmaceutical products, nutritional products and excipients worldwide.
Cushman & Wakefield represented ownership in the 27,500-square-foot transaction.
“We are pleased to accommodate the principals of Generichem in their search for a new office (and) warehouse facility in a very challenging industrial availability market,” said Mallaney, a first vice president with CBRE. “425 Main Road will allow the company to continue their growth over many years.”
