A contractor has purchased a 10,300-square-foot commercial property in Howell for $2.9 million, in a deal arranged by Sheldon Gross Realty.
The brokerage team said the office and warehouse facility, located at 400 Okerson Road, is the former home of a commercial electrical contractor and an accounting firm. The undisclosed buyer, which is also a contractor, now uses the site as its base of operations.
Sheldon Gross Realty Executive Vice President Jonathan Glick and Assistant Vice President Matthew Leonelli brokered the transaction. They noted that the structure, which sits on a 2.75-acre lot, has a fenced-in area for secure parking of building equipment.
“Lots of business owners are looking for a single property that provides industrial space and storage, plus existing offices,” Leonelli said. “They’re difficult to come by, particularly located right in Monmouth County, which provides quick access to the entire region. So, for all these reasons, this Howell location is quite special.”
The brokers added that 400 Okerson Road is minutes from routes 33, 18 and 9, while it’s seven miles from the Garden State Parkway and 90 minutes or less from both Philadelphia and Manhattan.
