Tenant brokerage firm Cresa has added to its team in the region with the hiring of Aron Schreier as a principal in its New York City office.

In a news release, the company said Schreier brings 26 years of industry experience and a well-known focus on some of the largest international financial institutions. That includes having negotiated more than 50 deals and hundreds of thousands of square feet of leases in New York City on their behalf.

Cresa added that Schreier, a former Cushman & Wakefield broker, will focus on leveraging longstanding relationships in the office sector to build the firm’s team in the market.

“We are at the very early stages of exponential growth of our New York platform, with similar momentum building across the U.S.,” said Michael Morris, co-leader of the New York City office. “In addition to bringing unmatched energy, Aron is a top business development trainer in the industry, with a strong history of success mentoring executives.”

The firm also said Schreier’s expertise and approach align with its vision of providing superior client services while developing the next generation of real estate leaders.

“I’m eager to collaborate with an organization that shares my commitment to both client service and professional growth,” Schreier said. “Cresa offers the perfect platform to expand my brokerage practice free of landlord conflicts, while also investing in emerging talent.”
