The new owner of two adjacent Princeton-area office buildings has tapped Cushman & Wakefield to oversee management and leasing at the properties.
The real estate services firm announced that it will work on behalf of Argent Ventures, which recently acquired 1 University Square and 115 Campus Drive in West Windsor. The properties, located along Route 1, span 330,000 and 33,600 square feet, respectively.
Michael Nevins of Cushman & Wakefield’s regional asset services practice is heading the management assignment, which marks the expansion of an existing client relationship.
“It is particularly gratifying when existing clients recognize the outstanding results our company brings to this type of project,” Nevins said. “We look forward to ensuring the responsible operation of these two premier assets while upholding and enhancing their competitive positioning.”
Office leasing specialists Kevin Carton and Todd Elfand are heading the leasing initiative for the multitenant buildings. This includes marketing availabilities of up to 48,000 square feet at the five-story 1 University Square, where global investment management firm BlackRock anchors the tenant roster.
C&W noted that Argent is planning new improvements to the building, which already includes high-end conference facilities, a gourmet café and a fitness center with lockers, showers and a sauna.
“Demand in the Princeton region remains extremely strong, bolstered by access to highly educated talent and the presence of other large corporations,” Carton said. “1 University Square and 115 Campus Drive represent a distinctive opportunity for companies to establish or grow a presence in one of the most coveted office submarkets in the country.”
The firm said 115 Campus Drive offers flexible catering to high-tech, lab and pharma and biopharma users. Tenants there will have access to all the amenities at 1 University Place.
