DMR Architects has expanded its construction administration team with three new hires.
Responding to what it says is an active pipeline of projects under construction, the firm announced the additions of David Gagliano, Lauren Marquez, Paul Clark at its Hasbrouck Heights headquarters. They will support a roster of more than 40 construction projects valued at more than $300 million, highlighted by assignments in education, health care, multifamily and corporate work.
Gagliano, who was hired as a project architect, has spent most of the last 10 years working in the construction sector, managing all aspects of construction projects from estimating and bidding through final closeout, DMR said in a news release. He has nearly 15 years of experience in the industry, working in New Jersey, New York and the Washington, D.C. area, having received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech.
Marquez, a construction administration technician, joins DMR after gaining experience in the general contracting and construction management field, the news release said. She is versed in all aspects of construction management and documentation for projects ranging from $1 million to $215 million and received a degree in marketing and management from Berkeley College.
Clark, who also joined DMR as a construction administration technician, will fill a support staff position and brings prior administrative experience in the architectural field, the firm said. He studied mechanical engineering and economics at Rutgers University.
DMR touted the hires with high-profile projects as a backdrop, including the Grande at Metro Park, a $50 million multifamily development, and the 340,000-square-foot, $140 million Hudson County High Tech High School.
“New Jersey’s population continues to grow necessitating more healthcare options, newer and bigger schools, and state of the art office facilities for those who live and work here,” said Lloyd Rosenberg, CEO and president of DMR Architects. “We can address our clients’ needs most effectively as a one-stop shop for all architectural, engineering, zoning and planning needs.”
