The site of a 120,000-square-foot shopping center in Edison has changed hands for $24 million, in a newly announced deal by The Goldstein Group.
According to the brokerage team, the Inman Grove Shopping Center at 1125 Inman Ave. includes a vacant grocery store space alongside users such as Taco Bell, Wells Fargo, Ivy Rehab, Planet Wings, Allstate, Dunkin’ and several others. That helped attract prospective buyers, as did the center’s high visibility, abundant on-site parking and a daily car count exceeding 22,000.
The Goldstein Group Vice President CJ Huter, Executive Vice President Lew Finkelstein, Vice President Marc Palestina and Salesperson Roy Paret represented the seller, Oak Grove Associates. Century 21 John Anthony Agency represented the buyer, Edison 10 LLC.
“The sale of Inman Grove Shopping Center underscores the strong demand for well-located retail properties in New Jersey,” Huter said. “The availability of the former Stop & Shop space presents an excellent opportunity for retailers seeking a prominent location with high visibility and substantial foot traffic.”
