PROJECT SPOTLIGHT
For Arizona Iced Tea’s new bottling facility, we used our unique design/build approach to develop a scope of work, schedule and a fixed cost early in the schematic design phase. This nimble and streamlined approach allowed
for critical decisions to be made early in the project.
This was important because it allowed the team to take advantage of design changes that offered great value.
For example, our team re-thought the MEP systems
that serve the facility — the team modularized the CUP, and re-engineered the HVAC system, saving 20ksf of interior space, making it available to be used for beverage production, saving 4 months on the schedule, and $1 million in cost savings.
