The Walsh Co. has hired Sabrina Valerio as a senior project manager as part of an expansion into New York City.
Valerio, who brings eight years of experience in project management and architectural
design, joins
the Morristown- based firm from Gardiner & Theobald Inc. She will play
a key role in
launching the
Walsh Co.’s
project management division in New York City and developing new business for the satellite office.
She is currently managing the overall project for the Corcoran Group’s headquarters relocation to 590 Madison Ave. in Manhattan. Before Gardiner & Theobald, Valerio was
a project architect at Ted Moudis Associates.
She holds a bachelor’s in architecture from the University of Miami.

LAN Associates has promoted both Jen Mannino and Ron Schwenke to the role of assistant vice president.
The architectural and engineering firm, which is based in Midland Park, said Mannino
and Schwenke
have played
significant roles
in its growth
and strategic
operations. Both
have earned
the title of
assistant vice
president in recognition of their roles in overseeing the marketing and business development for LAN and for its southern New Jersey operations, respectively.
“Our (marketing) efforts continue
to make strides in supporting LAN’s reputation as an exceptional full- service architecture and engineering firm,” Mannino said. “It’s been really rewarding to be involved with LAN’s growth over recent years, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to our advancements in my new role as assistant vice president.”
Following her promotion, Mannino will continue leading a team
of multidisciplinary marketing professionals working to increase LAN’s visibility through digital marketing, public relations and business development, the firm
said. Her purview includes leading company efforts on strategic proposals, working with departments on strategic planning and supporting business operations and growth.
She is the youngest person and the first non-technical staff member at the firm to reach the assistant vice president level.
LAN added that Schwenke, who recently relocated LAN’s operations from downtown Philadelphia to Voorhees, has been instrumental
expanding its K-12 clientele and developments in both retail and municipal markets.

history and reputation in northern New Jersey,” Schwenke said. “By opening the South Jersey office,
we are expanding our brand while pursuing new opportunities. Joined by an experienced and impressive team, and my new role as assistant vice president, we envision further market expansion and implementing innovative design beyond the South Jersey region.”
LAN also announced that architect Danielle Farrell, located in its Goshen, New York, office, has moved into a new role as a senior associate. The firm has also promoted architect Jeff Potter in its Voorhees office to associate.
